Kara has been working with individual and small business clients since 2005. She enjoys helping her clients achieve their individual and business tax goals and being a trusted advisor. Kara feels blessed to have the opportunity to build exceptional client relationships over the years and considers clients as family. Kara enjoys spending time with her husband, two school aged children and their dog as well as being involved with church and the community.
What is an Enrolled Agent?
An enrolled agent is a person who has earned the privilege of representing taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service. Enrolled agent status is the highest credential the IRS awards. Individuals who obtain this elite status must adhere to ethical standards and complete 72 hours of continuing education courses every three years. Enrolled agents, like attorneys and CPAs, have unlimited practice rights before the IRS.
Connie Burke, Tax Associate
Connie specializes in individual and small business income tax preparation. She enjoys working in the tax field and finding the optimal tax situation for each of her clients. Connie has completed the training and continuing education requirements to receive the IRS’s Annual Filing Season Program (AFSP) designation. Connie has been working in the tax industry for over ten years and has also provided a great community service by volunteering as an AARP Tax Aide
Larry G. Kottke, CPA, MST, MBA
Larry has a diverse knowledge base of accounting and taxation principles and guidelines, tax preparation procedures, and analysis of financial statements. Larry is a CPA with a Bachelor Degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin, a Masters Degree in Taxation from DePaul University, and a Masters Degree in Finance from Northern Illinois University. Larry worked in corporate finance during the early part of his career and worked for the IRS most recently until he retired. He enjoys spending time with family and doing volunteer work.
